Poppy's First Agility Show

Saturday was a Jumpers Agility Champ at WAG. I met up with Cheryl and we drove to Hamilton for the day.
Poppy came along for the ride and traveled in the back with Shilo and Cara.  Shona got the back seat with the gear.  There wasn't a peep from any of them on the trip down. On arrival, one of them had been sick(probably Poppy) .  We went and set up the day tent. I went back to the car to get the mallet and had to open the back.  Poppy got out and headed towards the road.  As the road is really busy, I raced to the front of the car and there was no sign of her.  I located her under the ute next to my car.  What a relief!!  As she is normally an outgoing little dog, I was surprised by this. I walked her around the show a couple of times during the day and she was fine.  She loved all the pats.

Shilo did not  perform her best performance and had 2 disqualifications and a 5 fault round. The day finished quite early so we gave the dogs a run by throwing the ball.
All was quiet on the trip home.

Once home, I wondered where Poppy was as she is normally playing with Shilo
or jumping on one of us.
I found her in Shilo's basket sound asleep. Shilo resting on Casey's bed.
Now I know how to tire that pup out.
