Introducing Kiwibeatz Sassenach Belle

Belle (Kiwibeatz Sassenach Belle) whelped 28 Sep 2018

There is a new thing in our house.  It looks like a miniature of Hogan and it moves fast.  Jake and I prefer to view it from a distance.

 Belle at 5 weeks old

Belle is Hogan's niece and comes from his sister Riley (Kiwibeatz Premiere Reine) and Bond (Kerrybrent Black Tye Affair).  There were 5 puppies altogether.  The 4 girls were whelped on the 28th September 2018 and the boy on the 29th.

April Adventures

It has been a busy month and here I am resting under the baby blanket that Mum made for Tamara and Matt's baby.  They rescued me when I was about 3 weeks old and looked after me until I was old enough to live with my family.
I like sleeping on Hogan's bed with Hogan.  He isn't so keen and often leaves during the night.
Here I am suckling Mum's dressing gown.  I put everything into it.
Some tree climbing in one of the many big trees we have here.
Checking the water trough is full for the sheep.
Jake giving me a head wash.  We are really good mates now.
Checking the sheep are all okay on our first frosty morning of the year.

Sheep Whisperer

Living here in the country is so different to the bush we lived in before.  Every now and then there are sheep in our paddocks and they seem to be fascinated by me.  I wasn't so sure the first time but was safe on the fence.
Pretending I can't see them.
I know they can't reach me here.

Life is pretty busy here for us cats.  There are mice in the ceiling so every now then Mum drops the stairs so I can go up and check them out.

Jake has been busy too and this is his catch of the day.

Life at Kimbolton

After Chloe left, Jake and I couldn't believe it was safe to walk about the yard.  We had a lovely peaceful day and then on the 17th January 2018, Mum put us in our crates and took us to Sharrow.

We stayed there for 2 nights and were so relieved when Mum picked us up on the 19th January.  We went on a really long trip.  I travelled in the back of the wagon with the dogs and Jake was up front with Mum.  On the back seat were the 2 roosters, 7 hens and 2 ducks.  It was very crowded.

When we arrived at the new house, Jake and I were shut in the main bedroom and ensuite.

 Food and crates in ensuite
Chickens and stuff on lawn first night
 Dogs outside the new house
