Rocky and his Ribbons

I finally got around to taking a photo of Rocky with the ribbons and trophies 

he won over his agility career.

Here he is, my beautiful boy, Rocky.

He has been retired for a year now and ran his last Flygility run in December as he is a stiff in his hind 

quarters.  He still loves to play and enjoys the daily walk with us all.  Rocky turns 11 in April this year and Casey will be 13 in March.  It seems like yesterday when they were

both puppies and just starting out in agility.

A wet day

For a change it was wet today at Fantail Ridge.

Ducks Sold

I listed the 6 ducks on Trademe and received an offer for the lot.

Yesterday I made a pen for them in the rain and managed to

get them in with food.  I left Jemima in with them but left George free.

I took these photos on my new cell phone.  It was raining and

that doesn't show at all in the photos.

Dogs and Cats and Ducks

Jemima and George have 6 ducklings left.

 This photo was taken last week when she had 7 ducklings.

I was trying to get a nice photo of all 4 dogs together.

Arnie decided to join in and give one of his dogs a cuddle.

Poppy is obliging with a head lick.  Rocky is looking fed up and

neither Shilo or Casey are looking at me.

I thought I would try a different place.  Somehow that cat ended up

in the picture again and only 2 dogs are looking my way.

Check out the new part of the deck.  It has only taken 4 years.

I thought this was cute.

Ducklings

Our duck Jemima has been sitting on a nest somewhere in the bush.

It was my job to find it and remove the eggs.

I guess I am too late as on Tuesday night Jemima appeared with

13 bundles of fluff.

Here they are in the A frame rabbit hutch while she is on the outside.

They all fit, just!

The wisteria looks really good this year.

The Garden and Other Animals

The garden is coming alive with flowers.  

A shame the gardener hasn't been lately

We put the flag up for the Rugby World cup final with

the All Blacks vs France.  We won 8 - 7. 

 I even watched the game and I know nothing about it.
